About our restaurant
Ma Khin Café is named after my great grandmother, born in Moulmein, Burma. We serve decolonial Asian food. From a steaming pot of mohinga to the simple comforting warmth of a bowl of dahl, this is food that takes history and gastronomy seriously. It respects culinary traditions, celebrates cultural encounters and sharing, and looks forward to a world where people are welcomed as much as their food.
Ma Khin Café: going slowly, coming nicely.
